Troubleshooting DispatchX

Use this page when something is stuck during setup or during a patrol. Each section starts with the most likely fix first, then moves to the checks that usually catch bad IDs, missing permissions, or ERLC key problems.

Login, Loading, Or Default Discord Icon

  1. Refresh the page once and wait a few seconds for /api/user to finish.
  2. If the Servers page still says Loading, click Logout and sign in once to refresh Discord access.
  3. Confirm you are signed into the Discord account that owns or manages the server.
  4. If only one browser has the issue, clear DispatchX cookies and local storage for that browser.
After normal updates, users should usually stay signed in. A one-time relog may still be needed if Discord invalidates the old OAuth session.

Dashboard Missing Data

  • Select the server from the Servers page before opening a department dashboard.
  • Check that the ERLC API key is saved under Manage > ERLC Integration.
  • Make sure the user has the employee role or department access role.
  • For live units, make sure the responder started a shift and is inside the ERLC server.
  • For calls, make sure dispatch created the call in the same linked server workspace.
FD and EMS dashboards do not include Lookup. Lookup is intentionally limited to LEO.

ERLC API Errors

Malformed Server-KeyThe saved ERLC key is missing, copied wrong, or not valid for that server.Copy the private server key again and save it in Manage.

Roblox Linking Problems

  • If lookup cannot match a profile, confirm the user has completed Roblox verification.
  • If the wrong Roblox account is linked, open Profile and click Relink Roblox.
  • After relinking, refresh Profile and confirm the Roblox account panel shows the new username.
  • If Roblox verification fails, try again from the same Discord account used for DispatchX.

Premium Payment Problems

  • For Robux checkout issues, return to the Premium page and start a new checkout session.
  • For USD payment, use Open Support Ticket from the Premium page and tell staff which server should receive Premium.
  • If Premium was purchased but not assigned, open the Premium page and choose the server to activate.

Mobile Or Tablet Layout Issues

  • Use the mobile menu button to open dashboard navigation on smaller screens.
  • If a page looks zoomed out, refresh once after rotating the device or changing browser zoom.
  • If text still overlaps on a specific phone or tablet, include the device size and a screenshot when contacting support.

When to Escalate to Support

  1. Capture a screenshot and the exact page URL.
  2. Include server name and approximate time.
  3. Share details in official support for faster help.
