Account And Verification
This guide explains how Discord login, server access, roles, and Roblox verification fit together. Use it when members can log in but cannot see a server, open a dashboard, or connect their in-game identity.
Account Access
Discord Login
Members sign in from the DispatchX login page and approve Discord access. DispatchX reads their Discord identity and the servers they can access.
Server List
The Servers page shows servers where the user has access and where DispatchX can operate. If the server is missing, invite the bot and confirm the user is on the right account.
Saved Session
After login, DispatchX keeps the user signed in with secure cookies. This is why users should not have to relog after every normal update.
Role-Based Access
Dashboard access is controlled by Discord roles saved in Manage. If a member can see the server but cannot open a dashboard, check these settings first.
| Role | Used For | Setup Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Employee Role | Allows staff dashboard access. | Copy the role ID from Discord and save it under Discord Integration. |
| On-Duty Role | Marks members who are actively on shift. | Make sure the DispatchX bot role is above this role in Discord role order. |
| Department Roles | Optional role separation for LEO, FD, EMS, Dispatch, and CIV workflows. | Keep department roles simple so staff know which dashboard to use. |
Verification
Verification links a Discord user to the identity your community expects to see in operations. This matters for unit names, ERLC lookup, and civilian profile information.
- Open the verification page from the app or server instructions.
- Sign in with the same Discord account used for DispatchX.
- Complete the Roblox verification prompt shown by your server.
- Return to DispatchX and refresh the dashboard.
Once linked, lookup results can connect live ERLC data to DispatchX profile data when a profile exists.
Account Help
- If your avatar is the default Discord icon, refresh once and wait for the user request to finish.
- If the server list says Loading for more than a few seconds, sign out once and sign back in to refresh the token.
- If one user has access and another does not, compare their Discord roles in the server.
- When asking support, include the server name, dashboard URL, Discord username, and a screenshot.
